Green Schools

Green-Schools, also known as Eco-Schools is an international environmental education programme.

The aim of Green-Schools is to increase students’ awareness of environmental issues through classroom studies and activities and to transfer this knowledge into positive environmental action in the school and wider community.

Schools that have successfully completed all the elements of the programme are awarded the ‘Green-Flag’. The award has to be renewed every two years.

Green Schools Blog

Our Green Schools blog was set up by the Green Schools Committee to inform staff, students and the community about our work on the Biodiversity theme. We thought that this would be a greener, paperless way of communicating with the school as well as being a great reference point for all the classes. And it helps the environment too.

Thank You!
