There are blackberries hanging over the school wall.

They are part of the biodiversity in the school.

Some caterpillars like to eat blackberry leaves.

Small birds like to eat blackberries.

Birds of prey like the buzzards at Charlesland

like a diet of smaller birds

This is a food chain.

We could collect the blackberries and sell them. With the money we earned we could buy seeds or plants for the school garden.

I like to pick blackberries but these ones are too high up! I would bring them home and check if they are black. I like to eat them with a little bit of sugar.
